Almost five years since the Syrian war broke out and created the largest refugees crisis since World War II. Syria’s neighbouring countries are facing an unprecedented and protracted refugee crisis. How could the international community help hosting countries beyond emergency aid? What could the mid-term solution be for this unprecedented situation? These and others were the questions asked to Olivier Ray, Head of Crisis Prevention and Conflict Unit, French Development Agency (AFD); Ferid Belhaj, Country Director for the Middle East, World Bank; as well as  H.E Sejaan Azzi, Minister of Labor, Lebanon. Debate in French animated by Jean-Pierre Boris for RFI’s show Eco d’ici Eco d’ailleurs.
