  • Social Media Campaign Amplifies Youth’s Solutions to Climate Issues

In the framework of the ‘Solutions Village’, a parallel event to the MEDCOP21 Conference targeting the general public, the Center for Mediterranean Integration (CMI) is animating a stand under the theme of “Youth and Climate Change” and launches a social media campaign to voice youth’s solutions to climate change issues.

#MyClimateMySolution campaign aims to engage the general public in the debate on how can individuals contribute to the adaptation to and combat of climate change through daily actions.

The campaign will serve as a platform to articulate and amplify messages from Mediterranean youth and highlight their ability to present solutions, promote action and inspire their peers to engage in and adopt climate friendly activities and habits.

How to be part of this campaign? There are two ways.

Visit the CMI stand at the ‘Solutions Village’, write down your solution to climate change on a black board, in English, French or Arabic, and pose at the photo booth for a picture. Then find your photo on CMI social media channels: Twitter and Facebook. Download, share, tag your photos and spread the message!

CMI stand will be held throughout the days of the ‘Solutions Village’ from Thursday June 4th to Sunday June 7th, 2015, at the Esplanade J4, forecourt of the Villa Méditerranée in Marseille.

If you can’t join the CMI stand in person, join us virtually by posting your very own solution on Twitter using the #MyClimateMySolution, #MonClimatMaSolution, #مناخي_مسؤوليّتي hashtags.

Be numerous! Join us to propose your solution to climate change, and we’ll make sure the whole world hears it!
