The CMI and the OCEMO are pleased to invite you to the side-event held during the 6th World Water Forum: Towards Green Growth in the Mediterranean Countries for a consultation on the draft CMI 2012 Med Report and to go further with a Regional Conference on Green Economy.
The CMI 2012 Med Report: “Towards Green Growth in the Mediterranean countries” is produced by the World Bank in collaboration with the European Investment Bank, the French Development Agency, Plan Bleu and Femise. It aims at giving evidence that green growth is a substantial way to face the employment issue with short-term results. A presentation and a debate are organized on the perspectives given by the draft report.
On this occasion, there will be a broader discussion on green economy in the Mediterranean region; the discussion will be engaged on the conditions to contribute in a significant way to create jobs and economic opportunities for public and private actors. A regional conference on green economy scheduled in May and organized by the OCEMO and the CMI will be announced.
